Forum Shaka binding....
Forum’s Brand New Shaka Binding Wins SIA SnowPress Innovation Award
BURLINGTON, VT (April 16, 2009) – Every year SIA’s SnowPress Show Daily honors the snowsports industry’s best innovations for the upcoming season. For 2010, Forum’s all-new Shaka Binding receives top recognition in the category of Skill. "The SIA SnowPress Innovation Awards honor the equipment that our editorial team feels will have the greatest impact on the future of snowsports,” says Peter Kray, Editorial Director of the SnowPress Show Daily. Forum Director of Bindings Chris Cunningham states, “We’re super pumped that SIA recognizes the Shaka as the future of snowboard bindings. We have really unlocked the board’s flex with the Shaka, now making any 4x4 deck even more fun to ride.”
Built to work with any 4-hole pattern board on the market, the split base of the Shaka works in conjunction with Forum’s entirely new Hinge Disc allowing for not only a more natural board flex, but also the added value of more control to the reverse camber board. In addition, a full-length EVA and FGel footpad provides the ultimate in dampening and cush comfort. Whether slashing the lip or destroying the park, there’s no need for a new board to get a new sensation.

Adidas storms mexico City
Evrytime I see Gonz skate I get super stoked! It's funny to me that I am writing this post because Boogs was just in asking me who my favorite skater was. He was listing names off and I denied him on all of them. So Boogs here it is, Mark Gonzales! Why? The man has been around forever and has some of the deepest roots in skateboarding(ATM,60/40, Blind, Krooked) number one reason his style is original! When Mark started Blind Skateboards I purchased his first pro deck which also makes me a little bias, but his skating in the Vision Streetwear vids got me hooked from day one. Here is Gonz in Mondo Vision circa 1990 of which I still own to date on VHS.
part 1,2 and 3
Ya, videos were pretty mashed up with a ton of other filler footy. But Gonz kills it!
Which brings us to the present. Still slayin!

Mini shreds at Copper!
A couple of our mini shreds were out at Copper Mountain for the USASA Nationals.
Benny Milam slayed it with a 3rd place finish in Slopestyle and a 11th place finish in Halfpipe in the 10-11 age group.
Garret Mckenzie finished up at 36th out of 60 in his age bracket(12-13) for Slopestyle. I noticed some 14 and 15 yr olds got slipped in to this bracket seems kinda suspect!
I couldn't find Jake Lindgrens results. If anyone knows let me know so I can add it to the post.
Congrats guys!
